After years of being unable to hire a bicycle on Achill we're righting that wrong..so you mightn't be Butch Cassidy or the Sundance Kid but you'll be able to freewheel your way around Achill on our lovely Trek 21 speed hybrid bikes (granted no one ever freewheeled up the hill into Keem Bay but it's the spirit of the thing that counts!)

Around the island by tandem. Now i don't care if you own a Ferrari or a Porsche, the real way to travel is by tandem.Nice and handy does it.Stopping off for a picnic by the beach (but leave the bike on the grass please) and maybe a swim or maybe a walk in the rain or a bit of aul' mullarkey by a deserted pier.Whatever tickles your fancy.You can take turns being at the back and pretending to pedal.

We'll supply the bikes, the helmet, a lock and a map.We can even supply lunch if you pre-book it and we'll give you a nice cup of tea afterwards so you can relax and let your legs turn back from wobbly jelly into something that you can walk as far as the pub with.You have to supply the huff and the puff.

To hire a bike for a full day from 10.00am until 5.30 costs 25 Euro.A half day (three hours) will cost you 15 Euro.Weekly rate also available.Lunch options available in July and August only.Please see here for boring but important stuff.
