We started off making clothing and we still do. Our Hot-Totz kids range is still one of the most popular ranges of kids clothing in Ireland-and one of the very,very few Irish made clothing products still actually manufactured in Ireland.Our Blackfield range for adults provides a unique opportunity to puchase something really quite distinct, and because we make our clothing in very small quantities using fabrics that we often design ourselves, both the childrens and adult clothing are pretty much originals.

Blackfield is now much more than a clothing designer and manufacturer. We are located on Achill Island on Ireland's west coast and are a small  business that operate a retail outlet including a coffee shop with WiFi internet, surf shop and surfing school, surf coaching and surfboard hire near to Keel beach.If you're coming to Achill, whether to surf or have a more leisurely activity break this year, don't hesitate to get in touch before you arrive with any questions you might have on any subject we may be able to help with.And we've had some bizarre ones!
